Cancellation Policy

     At Vidya the Living School, we value our students and families and strive to provide flexible and transparent policies. This Cancellation             Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations of admissions, classes, and school-related programs.

1. Admission Cancellation

  • Parents/guardians who wish to cancel their child’s admission must submit a written request to the school administration.
  • The admission fee is non-refundable once paid.
  • If cancellation occurs before the academic year begins, any tuition fees paid in advance (excluding admission and registration fees) may be refunded after deduction of administrative charges.

  • Cancellations made after the start of the academic year will not be eligible for tuition fee refunds.

2. Program and Activity Cancellations

  • For extracurricular activities, summer camps, or short-term programs:

    • A full refund will be provided if the cancellation request is made at least 7 days before the program start date.

    • A 50% refund will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the start date.

    • No refund will be issued once the program has commenced.

  • If a program or event is cancelled by the school, families will receive a full refund or credit, whichever they prefer.

3. Class and Schedule Changes

  • The school reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances such as low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or emergencies.
  • In such cases, families will be notified promptly and offered an alternative schedule or refund.

4. Fee Refund Process

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 10–15 working days from the date of cancellation approval.
  • Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment only.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

  • In special cases such as medical emergencies, relocation, or other compassionate grounds, the school management may consider partial refunds at its discretion. Documentation may be required.
